Hello from Bundaberg, Australia

Postby Chris64 » Fri Oct 07, 2011 2:46 pm

My name is Chris. I've been into model trains for about 40 years now, and I still love it as much now as I did back then. I've been in our local club, The Bundaberg Model Railway Club for about 30 years now. Our website is www.bmrclub.net. I have a HO scale layout at my house. It is DCC controlled by an NCE radio controlled system. I have a lot of sound locos from Atlas, MTH, Proto 2000, Athearn, and Kato. The athearn loco is a Gas Turbine "Veranda" with a QSI sound decoder, which I installed myself. I also have an Athearn Big Boy with factory installed Tsunami sound. It is a fantastic model. I installed 2 seuthe smoke units in it as well, which look great. I installed tsunami sound decoders in my 2 Kato SD 90's........

Chris, it sounds like you have an amazing layout. The big boy with steam and sounds would be awesome. Can you post some photos? :geek:
