Layout Wiring for DCC

I am about to start the DCC wiring for a layout with two loops---layout is 17.5' X 6.0'. The outer and inner loops connect at one location otherwise they are separate.
Question: Do it need a separate power bus for each loop or can I drop feeders to one bus for the entire layout? I am thinking that I only need one power bus?

That's all that I have ever done, 1 power bus supplies the whole circuit, never a problem if there is sufficient voltage. John
